How to FPP for Beginners - A Video Tutorial

This video tutorial will guide you through the process. You have two ~30-minute videos to choose from, depending on which block you'd like to make.

🦋 The Butterfly Video : This tutorial walks you through the process using one of the four butterflies that come with the pattern. This block finishes at 11.5". You will save $5 on the pattern by bundling with the video tutorial . View the Butterfly Pattern HERE

⭐ The Star Video : This tutorial uses a mini version of the Rockstar Quilt. This block measures 12.5" when finished. The free pattern is included with the video.

• No more guesswork : Both tutorials show you exactly how to check that your fabric piece is in the right place before you sew, so you can sew with confidence
• Rectangles make it easier : We use rectangle pieces of fabric to build the block shapes, so you can focus on learning the technique without fighting tricky angles
• Know when to rip out the paper : I'll show you exactly when to remove the paper (and when to leave it in place) so your blocks stay crisp, flat, and accurate

Is the pattern required? No. You can use the principles discussed with any FPP project. 

Do I need an account to watch the video? No, you do not.

How do I make a butterfly wall hanging like in the photos? You add a 2.25" border around the block to make it a 15" square. Then remove your paper and quilt as desired.
